Canine Good Citizen Prep Class/Intermediate Level
This
class is designed to prepare you and your dog to
successfully complete the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen
test. As part of the curriculum we focus on teaching you
how to move from a continuous reinforcement schedule
using treats or toys to a variable reinforcement
schedule which will decrease your dependence on food
rewards for training and teaching. Increasing
reliability through building your relationship with your
dog is the goal of this class. The CGC Test is given at
the end of the class session (normally $15).

Testimonials
There wouldn’t be anything
you guys could improve on because everything is perfect.
The training is broken down in such a manner that is
understandable. You didn’t make anyone feel inferior or
intimidated. You guys were always willing to explain why
we and our dogs do the things we do. It makes life a lot
different when you can understand why and what drives a
dog to do such things, good or bad. I also like the
topic about how other people sabotage our dog’s success
and how most of the time (if not all) the dogs react
because of the humans’ behavior. Thank you for
everything.
