Basic
Obedience
Purrfect
Basics Obedience class is focused on how to teach your
dog basic pet manners. We will teach the basic cues such
as sit, down, stay, etc. and other cues that you will
use in everyday life. We discuss pet care topics
throughout class that will help you build a fun,
effective and positive relationship with your dog. Our
instruction methods employ scientifically-tested
learning theory with a focus on positive reinforcement.
This class is a MUST for every dog and their humans!

Length of Class Session
One hour per week for eight (8) weeks.
** First week is a humans-only information session -
no dogs allowed this week

Size of Class
No more than 10 dogs per class.
Who Should Attend
Everyone who has a dog and every dog who has a human!
Doggie Pre-Requisites
-
Dog at least 5 months of age Current on Rabies,
DHPP and bordatella (kennel cough) vaccinations.
Titers accepted.

Free from all parasites (worms, fleas, ticks,
etc)
-
Properly fitted buckle collar (no chokes, prongs
or electric shock) and 4-6’ leash (no retractables).

Gentle Leaders or EZ Walk Harnesses (front clip
harnesses) will also be accepted.

Class Registration Fee::
$150.00
Returning canine students
and multi-pet discounts are available. Please contact us
for more information.
Payment in full prior to the first class in your session
will secure your spot in class. Registration fee
must be paid in full no later than the first class
session unless other arrangements have been approved by
Miranda K. Workman, CPDT. All class fees are
non-refundable. If you are unable to attend or complete
a session for which your are registered contact us to
reschedule for a future session. For questions regarding
this policy, contact us.
How Do I Register?
Print the
Registration Form using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Send
the completed registration form with payment to 2925

class was a lot of dog psychology – which I think is a
better system. The more I learn how my dog thinks and
reacts, the more successful I believe we will both be.
Other experiences with training classes I’ve
participated in with other dogs were strictly giving
commands. Graduation was cute too – how nice that no dog
fails and their strong points are rewarded. Cocoa & I
thank you – we enjoyed it.
