Purrfect Paws Applause (Testimonials)

See what past clients have to say!

Thank you so much! We really enjoyed it [Purrfect Basics Class] and I feel that my relationship with Iggy is much more “solid.”

I wasn’t expecting much from class and from my dog. However I was very much surprised and had a blast with my dog and was so happy with his progress. Thank you all!

I’m glad I did this class. Have had dogs before but never really trained him properly. These classes work – “Positive Reinforcement”

Lance Mauro (Tova)

Tova likes to watch the Koi fish in our pond and she also takes sea shells from the bond to chew on. One night she sat on the water fall while very cold water went under her fanny. We thought this was very funny. She sat there for 5 minutes.

Patrick Endez (Charlie)

Charlie lied in 3 different homes before coming to live with me. I have gained a much better understanding of his behavior, triggers and how he interacts with other dogs. It is a good resource.

Anne Whitehead (Brody)

We got Brody as a puppy and it was time for obedience. Upon the recommendation of several people we signed up. We love the “personal touch” here. After expressing concern to some of the instructors one night after class, the very next week she was there with information and handouts for us. Any problem we had they were right here with helpful suggestions and information. We will definitely be back for more training and playgroup!! We love it here!

Megan Zagarella (Jasmine)

The class helped us discover commands and tricks our dog had all ready learned from her previous owners and then refine those behavior for her new schedule and life with us. The staff was very positive and encouraging during the sometimes frustrating process of training a young puppy.

Todd Patterson & Ashlee Amoia (Kody)

Kody is a small dog. When we started puppy class he was 4.5 lbs. As fierce as he was, when it came time to play, Kody would hide. All of the other dogs were much bigger. As the weeks went on and all of the puppies got bigger, Kody got a little more comfortable, but still had some fear of the other puppies. By the last class, Kody topped out at 9 lbs, and was playing with all the other puppies that were twice his size. He learned that just because they were bigger, didn’t mean that they didn’t want to play, just like him!

Brenda Judkiewicz (Babe)

Babe had great playgroup sessions. She also passed CGC here. The skills training will, I hope, prepare her for more socialization.

Jason M Stewart (Ella)

I loved how excited Ella got every Saturday morning when she figured out that we were going to puppy class.

Karla Ruzdeck (Aaliyah)

We appreciate all the information that was provided and you helped us really communicate with Aaliyah. We have a better relationship with her since we started attending class.

Nicole Geandreau (Roxie)

We come to playgroup all the time and have never had a bad experience. Roxie is very grateful that Purrfect Paws exists as she really needs a year-round outlet to get out her energy. Staff is very good with Roxie and Roxie also met her first “friend” here as well.

Kim Williams (Sully)

We came for training and left with very valuable information and a stronger bond. We enjoyed class and look forward to more learning, safety and playgroup. Thank you for loving Sully as I do. Your kindness is much appreciated.

Mike Currier (Dee)

Before we took the class Dee was very frightened of me, after having been our dog for 6 months. Since taking the class she has been more trusting of me and letting me train with her and so for walks. I believe it is in fact due to the class and training methods we learned.

Janet Simon (Holly)

Purrfect Paws was a great beginning to begin a new relationship with my new puppy.

Jessica Tyler (Ella)

Ella first came here and didn’t know a lot and the instructors here really taught myself to learn how to talk to her and to communicate with her and over the weeks she really has learned a lot from this class and I’m really glad I brought her here and can’t wait for more experiences here.

Julie Brown (Mona)

I’ve never had such a short dog before, which made training quite different. I was taught the skills needed to work with a different variable to help Mona learn things she was having difficulty understanding. Now she’s a great “down-er”! J Thanks!

Elizabeth Keane (Daisy)

We got our dog Daisy from the SPCA @ 6 months old. Daisy had spent almost her entire life in a kennel and was not housebroken or trained at all! After completing the Basic Obedience class, she is doing significantly better!

Amanda Glor (Brody)

We got a puppy for Christmas. It was been very challenging training him with 4 people in the house. We signed up for Purrfect Puppies. It taught all of us how to train him the same way. The instructors were great and very understanding with my 3-year old twin girls. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Beverly Molak (Tricotage)

Tricotage is a big dog in a small dog package. My husband calls her our Spitfire – (a WWII plan that was extremely fast and maneuverable). In class we learned to harness Tricotage, with practice it will improve.

Abbey Evans (Gypsie)

Gypsie cam from a puppy mill then was sold to a puppy mill then was sold to a pet store where we took her from. She had severe separation anxiety and didn’t want to pay attention to us, she was even nicknamed “the crack dog” because of how crazy she was. After our 3rd attempt at obedience (1st time with Purrfect Paws) she has finally calmed down and now wants to pay attention. She has even passed Paws for Love and is working on her TDI.

Lisa Pender (Logan)

When we got Logan he was very shy. Our vet suggested Purrfect Paws to help him socialize. It took about a month to start playing at group, but now he is very active at group and more social at home and with other dogs and neighbors.

Neil Deutschman (Penny)

We brought Penny to your class to gain some control of Penny. This class was a great success. She learned to walk nice, not jump up on others and learned a way to get tons of treats! Purrfect Paws – thank you for the opportunity and we would recommend the program to others!

Rheannon Yuscinsky (Heinz)

When I first got my dog he was crazy! J I didn’t really know how to teach him. The class built my confidence and his and now he’s a master (most of the time) of the basic cues and I have you guys to thank. J

Tracy Simpson (Ben)

This was great for us. Ben will be 130 lbs and I was afraid of that. Now I know how to control him and not worry about my grandson. Thank you so much.

Deborah Jankowski (Tootsie)

I never thought Tootsie could learn so much so quickly. The first session was a little challenging, but then everything fell into place. I didn’t think she had the attention span for classes – but it worked!

Laura Ammer (Ivory and Rawleigh)

I first came to Purrfect Paws playgroup with my older dog Ivory, she enjoyed it so much we came back for daycare. She loved coming to Purrfect Paws, so when I got Rawleigh I knew it would be best to bring him for Obedience classes and daycare too! I have not been disappointed and both dogs came home totally exhausted. They have fun at daycare, but Miranda and Tracie always reinforce good behavior too.
